Aside from our corporate headquarters based in the City of Glendale, we have implemented system status management (SSM) so we can accommodate medical facilities in the City of Los Angeles and its surrounding vicinities the best response times available. Metropolitan Ambulatory Services Inc. also utilizes a global positioning system (GPS); vehicle tracking that enables dispatchers to determine which ambulance is closest to a request/response. The system, Teletrack, also sends and receives pertinent information to our dispatchers and to the responding unit, including navigational information and other numerous safety features.
Metropolitan Ambulatory Services Inc. utilizes a fleet of new ambulances with the most up to date medical equipment in the industry. Every ambulance is certified and licensed by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) and the City of Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT). All of our vehicles meet and exceed the requirements from the two organizations mentioned above.
